Trust Safeguarding Manager, Louis Donald, has thanked staff across the MAT for their continued commitment to safeguarding children and commended the culture of vigilance in each school.
Louis said: ‘the culture of vigilance in our schools enable staff to effectively safeguarding children in school and at home, every day.’
He went onto say that ‘We are working through a challenging period of our history and it is how children felt during this crisis, not necessarily what they learnt, that they will remember the most. ’
Stowe Valley MAT has offered all staff refresher training around identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns and the impact of adverse experiences on children and young people’s mental health.
